One Kavinoq account per person, with passkeys and two-step sign-in in Account and security.
A teacher who is also a parent uses one app.
- Working as. Mrs Mercy Okonkwo teaches Basic Science at Greenfield College and has two children there. She switches "Working as" between Teacher and Guardian, and each keeps its own home.
- Switch institution. Her daughter Amara is at Fountain Baptist Academy. "Switch institution" takes her there, in Fountain Baptist's colours, and asks her to confirm it's her only if the school requires it.
- Notifications labelled by role. A result for Adaeze and a register reminder for JSS 1 arrive together, marked Guardian and Teacher. The lock screen only says "You have a new result".

Staff can work offline.
- 30 days offline. Registers, scores and notes wait on the phone, marked as not yet sent.
- No silent overwrites. If two people change one score, both versions go to a person to choose.
- Locked on the phone. A PIN or fingerprint opens it. If a phone is lost, the school removes its own data from it and nothing else.
Families, students and learners see what's theirs.
- Children at more than one school. A parent with children at two schools sees both, each school in its own colours.
- Pay and keep receipts. Transfer, card or USSD, with the receipt in the app.
- Results, absences and balances first. Sent by app, and by SMS if needed.
On an Android phone
Getting the app.
- Only from the App Store and Google Play. Search for "Kavinoq". There is no file to download from a website, and nobody from Kavinoq or your institution will send you one.
- Phones your institution manages. Schools and employers that manage their own devices can hand the app out through Apple School Manager, Apple Business Manager or managed Google Play.
- You sign in in your browser. The app opens your phone's browser for Kavinoq or your institution's own sign-in. It never asks for your password on its own screen.
- Works on small phones and slow networks. With no network, it opens with the data it last loaded. It checks permissions again before it acts.
Your institution's own app.
Your institution's name and crest on the home screen and in the stores. Everyone at your institution uses it: families, students, staff and administrators.
- Its own name, icon and store listing. "Kingsgate School" in the App Store and on Google Play, with its own description and screenshots of Kingsgate.
- Managed by Kavinoq. Builds, store review, releases, certificate renewals and support. You approve the listing.
- Published from your own accounts. The app sits in your institution's Apple and Google developer accounts. You give Kavinoq access to release it, and the listing stays yours.

What it costs
₦1,800,000 a year per app
Plus VAT, on your contract, alongside your plan.
Who can have it. Institutions on Branded Experience or White-label. On Standard, your people use the Kavinoq app, which shows your crest and name once they sign in. That is also how White-label works without an app of your own.
What you provide
- An Apple developer account and a Google Play developer account in your institution's name. You pay Apple and Google their fees directly.
- Your crest and colours. We make the icon, launch screen and store graphics from them.
- Your approval of the listing, and two test accounts for the stores' reviewers, which we set up with you.

We set it up with you: classes or programmes, fees or prices, one term or month of calendar. At the end, you continue on a plan or leave with your data.
